Capture your event from a perspective no ground camera can match. SkyyTask connects you with FAA-verified drone pilots nationwide for event aerial coverage — from weddings and private celebrations to festivals, sporting events, and corporate gatherings.
Aerial Photo and Video for Every Event
Whether you’re planning a wedding, hosting a community festival, or documenting a corporate event, aerial coverage adds a dimension that ground-level photography simply can’t. A single overhead shot can capture the full scale of a crowd, a venue, or a moment in a way that tells the whole story at once.
- Sweeping establishing shots that show the full scale of your venue or event
- Aerial photos and video perfect for save-the-dates, event recaps, or marketing materials
- Event Aerial Coverage of outdoor ceremonies, festival grounds, sporting events, and large gatherings
- High-resolution footage suitable for social media, websites, and print
- Certified, insured pilots who understand event timing and know how to work around guests and activities respectfully
For Weddings and Private Celebrations
Your wedding day happens once. An aerial shot of the ceremony, the venue, or the whole gathering together gives you a keepsake that ground photography alone can’t capture — the full layout of an outdoor venue, a beach ceremony from above, or the moment a crowd gathers for a toast. SkyyTask connects you with a local certified pilot who can work quietly and respectfully alongside your existing photographer or videographer.
For Festivals, Sports, and Public Events
Large public events benefit from aerial coverage in a different way — showing scale. A packed festival ground, a marathon route, or a stadium at capacity reads completely differently from above than from the crowd itself. This kind of footage is valuable not just as a keepsake but as marketing material for next year’s event, sponsor recaps, or media coverage.
For Corporate and Commercial Events
Product launches, grand openings, company gatherings, and promotional events all benefit from professional aerial footage that elevates how the event is remembered and shared. Aerial shots of a venue, a groundbreaking, or a large company gathering give marketing and communications teams footage that stands out from typical ground-level event photography.
Working Alongside Your Existing Photography Team
Aerial coverage isn’t meant to replace your ground photographer or videographer — it’s meant to complement them. A skilled drone pilot works quietly around your existing team, capturing wide establishing shots, venue overviews, and crowd moments that a ground camera simply can’t reach, while your photographer focuses on close-up, candid, and detail shots. Many clients use aerial footage as a small but memorable part of a larger photo or video package, adding just a few key overhead shots rather than full aerial coverage of the entire event. Coordinating timing in advance with both your ground team and your drone pilot helps everyone capture their best shots without overlapping or getting in each other’s way.
How to Book Event Aerial Coverage
Post your job with your event date, location, and what you’re hoping to capture, and get matched with a certified local pilot familiar with event work. Every pilot in the SkyyTask network is FAA Part 107 certified and cross-verified against the FAA Airmen database, so you know a properly licensed, insured operator is covering your event — not an unverified volunteer flying without proper training.
Because timing matters for events, posting your job early gives you the best chance of connecting with a pilot who’s available and familiar with your venue or event type. Whether it’s a single afternoon or a multi-day festival, SkyyTask makes it easy to find the right pilot for your event, wherever it’s taking place.
