Fly With Us
Become a drone pilot and turn your FAA Part 107 certification into real, consistent work. SkyyTask connects licensed drone pilots with clients nationwide — real estate agents, contractors, event planners, insurance adjusters, and more — who need aerial work done and are ready to pay for it.
Why Fly With SkyyTask
Becoming a drone pilot doesn’t mean much without jobs to fly, and that’s exactly what SkyyTask helps every drone pilot solve. SkyyTask was built to solve that — giving Part 107 certified pilots direct access to real, paying jobs in their area, without the guesswork of building a client base from scratch.
- Access real jobs posted by clients nationwide — because when you become a drone pilot with SkyyTask, it should mean real work, not just a certificate
- Set your own coverage radius and choose the jobs that fit your schedule
- Get paid for the work you actually do when you become a drone pilot on SkyyTask — no hidden fees eating into your payout
- Build a track record and reputation that helps you access more and better-paying jobs over time
- Fly in the categories you’re best at, from real estate and events to thermal inspection and agricultural work

We’re Looking For
SkyyTask welcomes all types of licensed drone operators, including:
- Thermal drone pilots — for search and recovery, missing pet and person cases, and post-storm damage assessment
- Licensed agricultural drone pilots — for crop monitoring, spraying, seeding, and food plot work
- General Part 107 operators — for real estate photography, roof inspections, event coverage, 3D mapping, and more
Whatever your specialty, if you hold a valid FAA Part 107 certificate, there’s a place for you on SkyyTask.
Requirements to Join
To fly for clients through SkyyTask, pilots must meet the following requirements:
- A valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. This is non-negotiable — every pilot is cross-verified against the FAA Airmen database before accepting a job.
- A valid driver’s license for your state. Required as part of pilot verification.
- Insurance coverage. Pilots must be able to meet any insurance requirements requested by a specific client. Pilots who don’t currently carry a policy can use Pay by the Flight insurance to join and fly compliantly on a per-job basis.
- Your own equipment. Pilots fly their own drones and are responsible for maintaining them in safe, working condition.
- Part 107 Pilots must be capable of identifying airspace, hazards, weather conditions and neccecary airspace approval before flight.
- We expect trustworthy, professional drone operators with professional communication skills. Pilots who treat their business, like a business. Our clients are important to us, they should be treated with professionalism across all aspects.

Built for Part 107 Pilots to Succeed
SkyyTask was built for Part 107 drone operators to succeed — not to fly for cheap. Every pilot on the platform is verified against the FAA Airmen database, which means clients trust the pilots they book, and pilots aren’t competing against unlicensed operators undercutting the market. That verification protects the value of your certification and the work you do.
